Sentosa Island, a famous resort in Singapore, means “peace and quiet” in Malay. Until the 1970s, it was a military base in the United Kingdom, and later a tourism complex was created with the support of the Singapore government.
For travellers, Universal Studios, Merlion park and Rouge are the main attractions, but beach clubs are the ones I would recommend to people who have a little leisure in their itinerary or want to enjoy the weekend like local ones.
So, today I am going to introduce you to three beach clubs that are loved by locals and Expats in Singapore who are away from the busy city life and enjoy the weekend.
- Tanjong Beach Club
Tanjong Beach Club, also called TBC, is the first name that comes in my mind when I think of a beach club in Singapore.
Located in Tanjong Beach, the innermost part of Sentosa Island, the club holds various theme parties and events every week and is always crowded with guests. The pool by the bar is always the most popular spot

Poolside Beds can be booked in advance, and if you have a large group of people, you can book a private cabana, which is a popular one, so I recommend you make your reservations early on a public holiday in Singapore.
On the weekend morning, there are many expat families who enjoy brunch with their children, and there are many singles from lunch to dinner.

The beach club often plays music that is very calm, and mostly you’ll find a group of two or three talking quietly in the neighbourhood of the bar, While the beach side is a bit more exciting and cheerful.
It is also fun to watch the small items corner that sells small but beach-friendly items near the entrance. There are many people in the bar who wear casual clothes rather than bathing suits, so it would be nice to casually drop by to have a drink.

Among the locals in Singapore, the Tanjong Beach Club has the image of a place where hot single men and women gather. Maybe you should go check it out for yourself, right? ^^
It’s fun to watch beach volleyball net next to the beach club. ©Tanjong Beach Club
You can check the party& event schedule on the official website and you can also book a table.

- FOC Sentosa
After Tanjong Beach Club, the most crowded Beach Club is the FOC Sentosa Club, located between Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach.
Using the concept of Barcelona’s beach club culture, this beach club is usually a place where there is a simple drink or a more intimate dining experience, but sometimes there are enthusiastic (mania groups) who deliberately visit when the electronic music party is held.
As a Spanish restaurant & pub, there are a variety of dishes and cocktails as well as tapas. If you do not like Burgers & French fries, which is a general menu of beach clubs, and If you hate being crowded, I would recommend FOC Sentosa, a relaxed atmosphere.

The location can be easily reached by shuttle bus or mini train which runs on the island after descending from Sentosa monorail at the last beach station. If you ask the driver to go to FOC Sentosa, he will kindly show you around.
It is only about 20 minutes if you take a leisurely walk along the seaside from Siloso Beach, but if you are not accustomed to the hot Singapore weather, it is recommended that you use the shuttle.

- W Singapore Sentosa Cove
The last place to introduce is W Singapore Sentosa Cove in Sentosa. The W Singapore Hotel has been popular for a trendy hotel design and party since its opening.
The Woo Bar in the lobby has a free flow promotion to enjoy unlimited champagne for $ 50 every Friday and a Pool Party every month.

Normally you can use the pool from 7am to 7p if you pay the $ 45 (GST not included) admission fee, and if there is a pool party you can enter there regardless.
